In this role, you’ll support our finance function by providing insight-driven analysis, reporting, and forecasting to help our consulting business and clients make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports — including revenue, cost‑of‑sales, margins and departmental performance.
Partner with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and long‑term financial models.
Conduct variance analysis between actuals vs budget/forecast, highlight key drivers and recommend action.
Support ad‑hoc analyses: e.g., cost optimization, pricing impact, scenario modelling for new services or client engagements.
Maintain financial models and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all systems.
Collaborate remotely with departments (client services, operations, sales) to gather data and insights.
Identify process improvements and opportunities to automate reporting (e.g., using Excel, Power BI, scripts) to increase efficiency in our remote workflow.
Communicate findings clearly to non‑finance stakeholders and support decision‑making at Grant Consultants Ltd and its clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2‑5 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience, preferably in a consulting or services environment.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
Comfortable working in a remote setting: self‑motivated, disciplined, strong communicator across virtual platforms.
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or similar) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate financial data into impactful business insights.
Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
